Meet Morgan Flynn. Morgan is a second year student from Prairie High School. Morgan has worked on a wide variety of projects, most with varying fields. Last year, Morgan was in charge of marketing for a documentary film and wrote for a blog about people living within our city that often go unnoticed. This year, she is helping create a guerrilla marketing campaign for a new exhibit at a museum and is helping start at therapy garden at a prison.
“Through BIG, I’ve been able to tell stories, run two different marketing campaigns, create a garden program for a prison, and so much more. In a normal classroom, you look at a textbook and everything is the same. All the questions are the same. All the problems are the same. Once you get out into the real world, that’s not how it works. BIG has allowed me to find those real world problems and use the learning I already have to support that.”
